Grievance Procedures

The purpose of the Grievance Procedure is to promote the orderly resolution of disputes between students and the administration or faculty through formal reviews by committee.  When satisfactory resolutions are not achieved through a formal appeal, grievances serve to provide students with an opportunity for a second and final level of review.  Disputes must first undergo review by an appeals committee prior to consideration of a grievance.

Undergraduate students should refer to the Undergraduate Student Catalog for the applicable Problem Resolution Procedures contained therein. The Undergraduate Student Catalog is accessible online at http://www.nova.edu/undergraduatestudies/academic-catalog.html
