Master of Science in Leadership

At NSU, you will dive deep into your innate leadership abilities and learn how to apply them in order to achieve organizational team success. Our Master of Science in Leadership program will give you the edge you need to shape and motivate others to reach corporate, public sector, non-profit or higher education goals.

Our graduates have built rewarding careers as HR managers and directors, sales managers, healthcare administrators, management consultants. Like them, you will know how to guide others through engaging communication, insightful training and responsive support. Step up and help both individuals and your organization, as a whole, accomplish more.

Delivery Options

Coursework for the Master of Science in Leadership is offered fully online. Beginning Fall 2020, the M.S. in Leadership will also be available in a hybrid format, combining online convenience with select Saturday face-to-face classroom learning at NSU's Fort Lauderdale/Davie Campus. The hybrid is an accelerated, co-hort based program designed to be completed in 10 months.

Who Should Apply

Advisors, HR coordinators, trainers, supervisors, administrators, directors, and other professionals seeking organizational advancement at for-profit corporations, public sector organizations or non-profits.

  • Completed application with a $50.00 non-refundable fee. A $50.00 application fee is required for each application submitted to Nova Southeastern University.
  • Official transcripts from a regionally accredited institution indicating conferral of a bachelor’s degree.
  • Official transcripts from all other previously attended postsecondary institutions.
  • Evidence of a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of a 2.5, or GRE scores of 300 (combined Verbal and Quantitative scales only) for tests taken on or after August 1, 2011, or raw score of 50 on the Miller’s Analogies Test (MAT). The tests must have been taken within the past 5 years from the date of application.

Please be advised that in accordance with state and federal regulations, Nova Southeastern University (NSU) is required to provide the following information to prospective students considering enrollment in a degree program that customarily leads to professional licensure, as well as current students enrolled in these programs.

*PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE STATEMENT:   At this time, we have not made a determination as to whether the Master of Science degree in Leadership meets the educational requirements for professional licensure in other states or territories outside of Florida. Thus, while completion of your NSU program of study may assist in preparing you for your future professional endeavors, we currently have not made a determination as to whether the program leads to professional licensure in the states or territories other than Florida. 

The licensing boards in each state are responsible for establishing the requirements for licensure/certification for their state. Students who intend to move need to review the professional licensure disclosures pertaining to their program and consult with the state professional licensing board. The state professional licensing boards make the ultimate decision as to whether or not an individual will be eligible to sit for licensure based on the rules and regulations in place at the time the individual submits their application for licensure.
