The Abraham S. Fischler College of Education and School of Criminal Justice (FCE & SCJ) is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).This accreditation covers the following initial teacher preparation programs: Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education - ESOL/Reading Endorsements and Bachelor of Science in Exceptional Student Education - ESOL Endorsement. The accreditation also covers the following advanced-level programs: M.S. in Reading Education, Ed.S. in Educational Leadership, M.S. in Educational Leadership, M.S. in School Counseling, and Psy.S. in School Psychology.
In addition, several programs have earned national recognition from CAEP Specialized Professional Associations (SPA) indicating all respective standards have been met. Please see the list below for specific program information.
