Lisa Carbone is Manager of Program Licensure and Accreditation as well as an Assistant Professor at the Abraham S. Fischler College of Education at Nova Southeastern University. She started her higher education career at NSU’s College of Engineering and Computing in 2001 and started working for the College of Education in 2006. In addition, she taught for the School of Business at Miami Dade College and taught various management courses for South University. She commits her energy to local community initiatives and academic research aimed at advancing the quality of life for returning veterans and service members. Carbone currently serves as Vice President of Phi Gamma Sigma (Professional International Society), consulting advisor for Connected Warriors (local nonprofit) and the Yoga Service Council. Carbone is also a past State Vice-President of the American Association of University Women (AAUW).
