Dr. David Griffin is a full-time faculty member in the College of Education and school of Criminal Justice at Nova Southeastern University. He came to NSU in 1996 after working over 10 years for the Florida Department of Children and Families. As a psychologist working directly with exceptional students, he conducted psycho-educational evaluations, developed programs to address both appropriate and inappropriate behaviors, served on IEP committees, trained and supervised behavioral staff members, and worked collaboratively with parents, teachers and school administrators.
Dr. Griffin received his master's degree in experimental psychology from the State University of New York at Brockport, and Doctorate in Special Education/Research from Florida International University. He is licensed in the State of Florida as a School Psychologist and holds Board Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis.

Classroom Management
Additionally, for 14 years Dr. Griffin taught weekend courses for NSU in Jamaica (Kingston, Brown's Town, Mandeville, and Montego Bay), Freeport, Nassau, and the Turks and Caicos Islands. He was also responsible for teaching Applied Behavior Analysis courses at NSU's Puerto Rico Campus for 2 years.
