I have 23 years of teaching in higher education, serving as a full-time professor at NSU for the past 18years. Additionally, I have 20 years of experience with public school students ranging in age from pre-kindergarten to high school in the United States. I have earned degrees in physical education, special education, TESOL, elementary education, and educational leadership. I believe in public education and have a passion for language, culture, teaching, and learning. In addition to teaching undergraduate and graduate students in the United States and online, I have traveled to teach graduate students in The Bahamas, Belize, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Chile, Jamaica, and S. Korea.
