Dr. Peyton has been a member of the faculty at Nova Southeastern University’s Abraham S. Fischler College of Education since 2006. As an associate professor, she teaches courses in the Ed.D. Organizational Leadership concentration and in the M.S. Leadership degree programs. Dr. Peyton is also a Dissertation Chair and Program Coordinator of the Master of Science in Leadership degree program.
Dr. Peyton has been employed at the University since 1995. In previous roles, Dr. Peyton was a Grants Officer at NSU’s Grants and Contracts Office as well as a Research Associate at the College of Education. Dr. Peyton’s areas of specialized instruction include organizational leadership and administration, higher education leadership, leadership styles, theories, and practices, and promoting effective communication. Her main concentration area is developing students’ leadership skills to help them excel in their roles as effective leaders.
Dr. Peyton graduated from NSU with a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership with a specialization in Higher Education Leadership, a Master of Science degree in Education, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.
