Education:

  • Ph.D. from Florida International University with a specialization in Developmental Science and Applied Behavior Analysis

Alejandro Diaz, Ph.D., has over a decade of experience working in Applied Behavior Analysis. He has worked with Children as young as two years old, adolescents, and adults. He has provided services in client's homes, public community settings, class rooms, early intensive behavioral intervention (EIBI) programs, summer camps, group homes, and adult day training facilities. He has also worked with clients that have a variety of diagnoses and needs such as Autism, Down-syndrome, ADHD, Apraxia, PDD-NOS, Aspergers, Apraxia, and others. He has also served as a Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) for the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB) which maintains and implements testing for minimal competency within the applied field of behavior analysis.

Recently, he generalized his behavior analytic skill set and focused on designing systems and digital environments for practitioners to work more efficiently by designing User Experiences (UX) on software that enables behavior analysts to work more efficiently. He currently works at Positive Behavior Supports Corp., as a Senior Behavior Analyst where he is able to take his passion for teaching and mentor new analysts in their role as clinicians.
