Doctoral Studies Orientation provides an overview of six distinct areas related to doctoral studies. Below you will find a short description of each area.
A synopsis of the Doctor of Education program is presented.
Assistance is provided for academic planning, admission support, advising, registration, and continuing education.
Students will be introduced to the Applied Dissertation process and benchmarks. The Applied Dissertation is a detailed, accurate, and cohesive account of a scholarly investigation designed to answer one or more research questions.
The Distance Library modules will advise students on how the librarians can assist them with their research needs, show them how to use key resources, help them construct better searches to achieve better results, and introduce them to APA style citations.
Students will receive guidance in regards to responsible borrowing as well as information on financial aid resources as a means of limiting educational debt.
Online applications used to deliver doctoral program instruction will be the focus in this area.
