Program Highlights
- Earn Your Masters in Less Than a Year – With flexible, individualized learning pathways in core courses, you’ll have your M.S. in Educational Leadership in as little as 9 months.
- Virtual and Face-to-Face Field Experiences - Progress from observer to active practitioner throughout our program empowering you to practice skills you learn in your coursework.
- One-on-one Virtual Simulations Progress into Face-to-Face Experiences - A hybrid artificial intelligence and human interaction platform allows you to practice and refine your skills before engaging in a real-world setting. Then, you will complete your face-to-face experiences in one of our partner districts under the supervision of practicing school leaders.
- Internship - Develop and refine your leadership skills with your faculty supervisor during a 32-week, four course internship.
- Field Project - Engage in a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) experience that builds across your internship. Propose an assessment-based solution to an educational challenge, then present your final culmination project to peers, faculty, and district leaders.
- Summer Symposium Showcase - At the conclusion of the program, you will have the opportunity to strengthen your professional network at a week-long summer conference that brings together peers, faculty, and educational leaders. Attend sessions from wellness to school safety, including mock experiences. As a finale to the week, you will have the opportunity to showcase your field project in a conference setting.

Aspiring assistant principals, principals, teacher leaders, district leaders in public, charter, or private settings, and leaders of not-for-profit organizations will be prepared to lead an organization in transformational ways, close the achievement gap, and navigate the educational challenges of the 21st century.
The M.S. in Educational Leadership is available to practicing prekindergarten through 12th-grade teachers who wish to obtain graduate degrees and enter the field of educational leadership. Those with a bachelor's degree and a valid professional teaching certificate who wish to obtain a graduate degree and/or add a certification area in educational leadership are also welcome.
