Jared Bucker is an Associate Professor/Institutional Review Board Representative at the Abraham S. Fischler College of Education and School of Criminal Justice where he teaches courses in instructional technology, research methods, curriculum design, online education and pedagogy. He received his Ph.D. in Educational Research in 2001 from the University of Miami (Florida), where he also obtained his Microsoft Systems Engineering Certification (M.C.S.E).

His research has produced 55 published, scientific, peer-reviewed papers including National and International presentations, which primarily involve the use of technology in teaching and learning, particularly related to educational assessment. Jared, a native of Montreal, Canada, currently lives in Jupiter, FL with his wife, a senior analyst at Next Era Energy and has two middle school-aged children.
