Become an In-Demand Computer Science Educator

Computer science is a fast-growing field, and skilled teachers are in high demand. There is currently a critical shortage of computer science K-12 educators and a need to provide pathways for teachers to become certified in this area. A Master of Science in Education with a concentration in Computer Science Education from Nova Southeastern University will prepare you to teach Computer Science Education to all grade levels.

This program provides both content and pedagogical knowledge in teaching computer science. Additionally, there is a growing demand for computer science courses, including advanced placement courses, and for teachers with computer science knowledge to teach them. NSU’s program will help address that educational gap. Upon graduation, you’ll have the skills necessary to pursue a rewarding career teaching computer science and programming to children and adolescents in various educational settings.
