Application, Registration, and Tuition Information

Please follow the instructions below for applying, registering, and paying for your APSI workshop(s):

All participants must complete the 2018 Advanced Placement Summer Institute Application Form prior to registering for any workshops:

To complete the Application Form, you will need to have information about your payment method handy (see "Payment Options" section below).

Upon receipt of the completed Application Form, participants will be sent an email with information regarding payment and registration for APSI workshops.

Scholarships

Important Note:  All participants must first complete the online application form. 

If you are a teacher that has been awarded a College Board Scholarship or a Florida Partnership AP Summer Institute Scholarship, you must complete the online application form and submit verification of your scholarship award to fce.apsi@nova.edu.

Upon submission of the online application form and verification of the scholarship award, you will receive an email with a payment code and registration instructions.

Third Party Billing (excludes College Board Scholarship and Florida Partnership AP Summer Institute)

Important Note:  All participants must first complete the online application form. 

First Option

If your school district, school, or other organization wants to make a payment by credit card after you have completed the online application form, please direct them to the registration website https://education.nova.edu/apsi/registration.html to complete the payment process. Tuition and fees are payable in full at the time of registration. 

Second Option

If you are being sponsored by an organization (i.e., school district, school, or other organization) that is paying your workshop tuition by an invoice, please complete the online application form and ask the sponsoring organization to send a billing authorization email to fce.apsi@nova.edu. The email must include the following information:

  • Company Name
  • Company Address
  • Billing/Payment Contact Information
    • Name and Title
    • Email Address
    • Telephone
  • Student Name
  • Workshop Name
  • Workshop Cost

Upon submission of the online application form and third party billing authorization, you and your sponsoring organization will receive an email with a payment code and registration instructions.


Self-Pay

Important Note:  All participants must first complete the online application form

Upon submission of the online application form, you can go directly to the registration website https://education.nova.edu/apsi/registration.html to complete the payment process. Tuition and fees are payable in full at the time of registration. 

Registration Fee

$50.00 non-refundable, non-transferable fee will be applied to each registration


Tuition                  

$625.00 per workshop
$675.00 per science workshop (includes additional $50.00 lab fee)


Lab Fee

$50.00
All science workshops have a $50 lab fee included in the price.  Science workshops offered in 2018 APSI:  Chemistry, Computer Science A, Environmental Science, Physics 1, and Physics 2.


Tuition for the institute includes the cost of instruction, texts, course specific materials and College Board materials.  Complimentary refreshments are provided each day.

If you have registered for an APSI workshop and need to change to another workshop or withdraw your registration, you must send an email to fce.apsi@nova.edu.  All requests must be received prior to the deadline date for your week of enrollment.

Deadline Dates:

            Session 1 (July 9-12, 2018): June 1, 2018
            Session 2 (July 16-19, 2018): June 8, 2018
            Session 3 (July 23-26, 2018): June 15, 2018

 

If you or your school district need to change your registration, you must contact us in writing by the above deadline dates.  Please note that registrations are non-transferable.  The $50 registration fee will be required, and a new application form must be submitted for new applicants.  

If you are withdrawing your registration by the deadline dates, a full refund of the tuition amount minus the $50 registration fee will be processed. No change or withdrawal can be made after the deadline dates.

No refunds will be issued if a registered participant does not show.
